Don’t forget to take part in Transport Scotland’s survey … and other things…

As 2025 comes to a close, we have three important things to remind you of –

  • If you run a tourism or perishable food business on Mull or Iona and have been impacted by ferry disruption, you have until Jan 12th to submit your application for the Island Business Resilience Fund. Apply HERE.
  • Ahead of the new Mull ferry replacements, Transport Scotland are undertaking ‘Community Needs Assessments’. The first part of that is a survey asking about your experience of the service. Please complete it HERE.
  • A date for your diary – CalMac will be holding a public meeting to discuss plans for the interim replacement of the MV Isle of Mull (ie which vessel we will get after the IOM is retired next year, and before the arrival of new-builds in about four – five years time). The event will be in Craignure Village Hall on Wednesday 26th January between 4 and 7pm. Read more on the topic here.

Happy New Year when it comes!
