We won! Mairi Gougeon has today announced that the Island Business Resilience Fund is being opened to applications from Mull Iona, Coll, Tiree, Jura, Islay, Barra and more.
A little over £1m has been paid out from the £4.4m pot originally available, which indicates it would not have been a difficult decision to now widen the scheme. It remains available only to tourism businesses and those in the perishable foods sector. To apply, visit the Highlands and Islands website here. Applications are open today, and close on January 12th. If your business has suffered from reduced bookings, lower sales, increased costs or lost business as a result of the state of our ferry service, APPLY!
