The MV Isle of Mull entered dry-dock at the end of November, but still remains in Aberdeen after the discovery of extensive decay in some hull voids.
Initially this did not threaten Mull services, since we had Frisa-only programmed to last until January 26th. Now however an extension to the time needed to complete the steel replacement means she will not be available to take up service as originally planned on Jan 26th.
IOM is not now scheduled to be back in service until Feb 9th, meaning that the current spell of Frisa-only service will be extended an extra two weeks until then.
On a separate topic, we are also still seeking some further timetable tweaks that will restore missing train connections, but it is taking longer than anticipated.

i missed train last year as time between isle of mull and lunchtime train i saw timetable used to 5 mins more between Isle of man and train complaijimned to transport Scotland but got no ware is coruisk free any news if cale isles leaving dry dock on time?
Isle of Arran was supposed to providing the Craignure service from 26th Jan. Is there an implicit admission here that Caledonian Isles is going to be late leaving dry dock and Isle of Arran won’t be available?
The wheels are starting to fall of again !! IOM extended dry dock, Cali Isles looks like extended dry dock also for steel work and now Irish berth at Ardrossan is out of service leaving Alfred idle ??? With Clansman still in Liverpool we have 4 major vessels out of service. Nearly as good as last year.
