Dry-dock delay extends next period of Frisa-only service

We have just learned that due to work required on the Lord of the Isles’ Marine Evacuation System whilst she is in dry-dock, her return to the fleet is being delayed by a few days. This in turn means that the Isle of Arran will not be available to support the Frisa from December 1st as was previously planned.

So the three-day period of Frisa-only service that was scheduled for Nov 28-30th will now extend for six days up to and including December 3rd. See the amended calendar below.

Also – MIFC AGM on December 5th – Note date change!

If you are interested in joining MIFC and working to improve our ferry services on behalf of islanders, this is your chance to join. We’re holding our AGM at 7pm in An Roth on Tuesday December 5th. Email us if you’d like to come along or find out more.

  1. When will booking for 1st to 3rd Dec free up as Frisa only and allow booking as at this moment it is still showing as Sold out for all sailings. I have a medical appointment early on 4th Dec in Glasgow and need to leave Mull on 3rd Dec

    1. Have asked the question will come back to you….

  2. Why is Hebridean Isles back in Aberdeen docks ? Can’t find any info on calmac or news sites !

    1. Back in for annual overhaul, and due out tomorrow (28th). Annual overhaul was not done when having the propellor issue fixed, because CalMac weren’t sure if it would ever return to service…..

      1. Thanks Joe, doesn,t seem to be a schedule of overhaul with covering vessel available this time round.
