In preparation for deploying the Utne (now renamed Loch Frisa) in March as Mull’s new year-round island-based ferry, CalMac are now advertising for the crew they will need. Unlike the MV Isle of Mull, the Loch Frisa does not have live-aboard crew accommodation. So just like the ‘minor’ vessel fleet, CalMac are looking for new crew members who live close to her home port, which will be Craignure.
Up to seven on-duty crew will be needed (to be confirmed), all working a one-week-on, one-week-off rota system – so there could be as many as fourteen vacancies for people living on Mull or willing to re-locate.
The closing date for applications is January 7th, so if you have the experience and qualifications needed, you should not hesitate to apply. Links below.
