MIFC have contributed to a long ‘Insight’ article in yesterday’s Scotland on Sunday, that talks not just about the problems in the ferry system, but how some of the fundamental issues could be fixed. We have suggested that chief among them is the scrapping of CMAL and the introduction of some competition into the system.
This is a big topic that we aim to engage on further in coming weeks. Meantime if you live on Mull and Iona and have views on how the ferry service could be improved, let us know about them. Email us or comment on our Facebook page.
