Thank you everyone who took the time to complete our survey last week – more than 1,100 responses from Mull & Iona came in, which is fantastic. We compiled the results over the weekend, and have sent the report to all decision-makers and representatives involved – senior CalMac management, Transport Scotland, Government Ministers, Local Authority Councillors, MSPs and others.
You can download the report below. The outcomes are pretty clear, and we know from the feedback already received that it has been very helpful in guiding decisions. We included all of your comments as well as summary results – so your views are on the desks of those figuring out how to manage the service over the coming months.
We are now compiling a letter of recommendations and requirements to follow up, that is guided by the survey results. Later this week we should get confirmation of an increased timetable that will take effect from July 1st; and then a further improvement (that we hope will include the return of the Coruisk to the service) from later in July.
If you have particular concerns or questions and we might be able to help, do get in touch.
